My name is Carolyn Walsh but most people call me Carrie.

I moved into the village in December 1984. At that time I had two young children under school age. They went school at Polebrook, Oundle Middle then Prince William, they have long since moved away to finding work in other areas.

Until I retired I was a teacher and have also been a Governor and then Chair of Governors at Polebrook School. I am on the Village Hall Committee and I am currently the Treasurer for that organisation.

I have been a Parish Councillor since 1999 and was involved in the unsuccessful Rural Broadband bid of 2010. I am currently Vice Chairman and the Parish’s Highway Liaison Councillor.
